Springtime art submissions for the upcoming Kern County Fair!

Wow... what a turnout!

Although we weren't able to snap photos of all the artwork submitted,
Wm. Penn had quite a few students submit artwork for the September 2019 Kern County Fair. Art needed to be turned in through the Wm. Penn library to the District office by April 26. A maximum of students allowed per grade could be accepted by the District Office, and artwork that didn't make the cut will be displayed in the library for the remainder of the year. ~

Last year, we had around 16 students participate. This year, that number was almost 30!

The librarian, Mrs. E, took the artwork home, matted it, and labeled it for the Fair!

Congratulations to the following students who will have artwork on display at the buildings off the Ming Avenue entrance in September. Be sure to visit the Kern County Fair to see the beautiful art in person!
